Martin and Marty Productions was founded by producer/actor Matthew DeRose in 2026. With a background in real estate and restaurant/hospitality, Matthew strives to produce independent films and original projects that build community with fellow artists and promote commerce with local businesses. Our initial project brought together a group of young creative talent, mentored by industry professionals, to create the micro-budget feature "For Nicole".

Martin and Marty Productions also hosts the Central PA Film & TV Meetup to connect filmmakers and creators in the Central PA area to support independent storytellers and give artists opportunities to grow, connect, and create. Meetings are held online and in person at Noni’s Table on the first Sunday of every other month.

Matthew DeRose

Founder & Producer

Matthew DeRose is a Central Pennsylvania filmmaker and creative advocate committed to expanding opportunity within the regional film community. He has acted in and produced independent film projects and
is deeply invested in York and the surrounding region. Matthew is actively building a collaborative film network in Central PA with the goal of attracting more productions and creating sustainable opportunities for talent both in front of and behind the camera.

Rachel O'Kelley

Head of Production

Rachel O'Kelley is a California native from Los Angeles. She graduated from UC San Diego with a BA in Visual Arts - Media in 2026. She is also a filmmaker and has been producing projects since she was 12 years old growing up in an industry family. As the Head of Production for Martin & Marty Productions, Rachel manages the budgets, line producing, staffing, and overseeing of our projects from development through distribution.

Macey O'Kelley

Head of Development

Macey O'Kelley is a California native from Los Angeles. She is currently a student at UC Berkeley majoring in Media Studies with an emphasis in writing and film analysis. She is also a freelance writer and creative producer. Macey brings her critical thinking and understanding of writing structure to her role as the Head of Development for Martin & Marty Productions.

Brianna McHugh

Social Media Manager

Brianna McHugh is Pennsylvania native from Harrisburg. She graduated from Millersville University with a BS in Media Arts Production in 2026 as the vice president of production at MUTV, her colleges film production club with additional experience in news, podcasts, and social media marketing. She represents Martin & Marty's social media with excellent communication skills and professionalism.
